PPWR Update

The Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation 2025/40 was published this morning in the Official Journal of the EU (click here).

According to Article 71, the new Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union (I suppose 11 February) and it shall apply from 12 August 2026. However, Article 67(5) shall apply from 12 February 2029.
